I am from Kazakhstan and born in 2000, I remember how poorly my family lived, and dad said it was much worse in 90s, he lost a lot of money because of 2008 crisis, but he worked a lot and just in 5 years we moved to capital of our country, we bought a cool home, we was able to afford a lot of expensive stuff and it all was not be possible without shock therapy. My take on the whole project is that it is a conservative wish list and would be difficult or impossible to implement. Most of it requires an act of Congress and that's just not going to happen for extremely contentious policies like these. As for the other dictatorial aspirations, how come they possibly succeed when it's clearly against the constitution? The project is revolting and alarming but i'm not worried about it.
